| dc.description.abstract | The Symposium provided a forum towards better understanding of the role of the Internet and ICTs in enhancing Caribbean Economic Development. With a diversity of professionals represented, the conference enabled evidence-based discussions of the Caribbean’s perspectives of the 2016 WDR analysis of growth and development using ICTs and the Internet. Sessions included: Broadband ICT Access, Affordability, and Open Source Technology in the Caribbean; Caribbean Domestic Opportunities and Island States Integration; Regional E-Government Initiatives.
