Abstract
This networking event provided national and city authorities and senior officers of municipal offices, relevant Ministries and NGO’s and staff of international and donor organisations with an overview (including field visits in Nanjing), of the development of pro-active policies on urban and peri-urban agriculture. RUAF Foundation (International Network of Resource Centres on Urban Agriculture and Food Security) and other organizations have been collaborating in the field of urban agriculture and are leading members of the International Support Group on Urban Agriculture. The organisations implemented various joint activities including international conferences and workshops, publications and projects.
