Abstract

Our research and country studies are the first to focus on inter-institutional coordination among Latin American anti-corruption enforcement agencies, with emphasis on a rights-based approach to enforcement and inspection. Our findings are an important contribution to a number of legal and institutional reforms that are underway in different Latin American countries: Peru, Argentina, Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia. One particular skill that the project has developed is the ability to help partners solve their own management challenges: drafting agreements, tax planning, establishing protocols of transparency and expense-reporting, which were issues our partners felt were daunting at the inception of the project.
