Abstract

The objective of the project was to improve household food security and nutrition outcomes, livelihoods and women’s empowerment through an integrated homestead food production model. The presentation shows that 19 of 23 studies reported a positive effect on diet. Aquaculture increased fish consumption. There were also indicators of improved effects on nutrition, underweight and wasting. Beautiful images of cultivation areas accompany the presentation.
