Abstract

This project aims at creating more innovative approaches towards knowledge exchange (defined as the interface between research and practice) and a critical re-thinking of scholarship and knowledge generation within a global context. African and Canadian scholars, alongside Digital Opportunity Trust (DOT) youth beneficiaries, staff, donors, and partners worked to increase research and learning capacity within DOT and its networks, deepen and widen contributions to key development issues, and generate new collaboration modes. African-based research focused on ICT, youth, gender, learning and pedagogy, and entrepreneurship. The report outlines main activities and outputs along with recommendations for future research and knowledge exchange initiatives.
