Abstract
A key objective of the workshop was to help improve researchers’ communication of research results and outcomes to policy and decision-makers, through the supported development of two types of output: outcome stories to document significant outcomes during the project, and policy briefs on issues informed by the research process. Templates for policy briefs, samples of briefs, as well as guidelines for taking photographic images to illustrate projects were provided. An evaluation of the programme by workshop participants is included.
