Abstract

The Canadian Journal of Development Studies (CJDS) provides an interdisciplinary, bilingual forum for critical research and reflection upon development theory and the complex problems of development policy and practice. In this issue religious non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are highlighted in the policy forum section. Full articles’ subject matter include: agribusiness and large-scale farming in Argentina; an ethical analysis of microfinancing in India; a political economy approach to India’s presence in Senegal; impacts of the global economy and policy response regarding children in Cameroon; contesting expertise in Latvian-Canadian criminal justice reform.
