Abstract
The Community of Practice in EcoHealth for West and Central Africa (COPEH-WCA) is a network of ten universities and institutions of higher education and research, including teachers and researchers, NGOs and practitioners, who invest in training, research and assistance in ecosystem approaches to human health. The powerpoint presentation reviews training programs and accomplishments of the various institutions involved in the network, as well as the implementation of a interuniversity doctoral program in public health with ecohealth research programs. Ethical issues arising from working with vulnerable and often exploited populations are emphasized.
