dc.description Library has French version: Conférence internationale sur l'emploi des jeunes en Afrique Sub-Saharienne, Hôtel Pullman, Dakar, Sénégal, 28 – 30 janvier 2014 en
dc.description.abstract Ten years after the Ouagadougou Plan of Action, evidence suggests that youth employment remains a challenge to most policy and stakeholders on the continent. The conference served as a prelude to the special session of the African Union’s Conference of Labor ministers (2014). This is a report of the discussions and exchange, as well as breakout sessions during that conference. Experts underscored the necessity of consultation on a regular basis between involved stakeholders in order to implement active and will-based policies for the promotion of youth employment and entrepreneurship, through dedicated public investment. en
