Communities improve the access to health care of indigents

Abstract

For the first time since the Bamako Initiative, a study has shown that community selection is a good solution for identifying those who are most vulnerable. Simple, fast, participative and inexpensive to implement, this method—with State assistance—will make it possible to significantly improve access to care for the indigent.
