dc.description.abstract The cards are designed to help farmers groups’ Peer Educators communicate effectively on nutrition-related topics with group members during their monthly or quarterly meetings. The side of the card with illustrations is intended to be viewed by group members, while the other side with text is to be viewed by the peer educator. Cards contain images and information about cultural practices, food taboos, nutritional information and how food and dietary practices can contribute to the wellbeing of families and communities. Children and women’s health can be particularly affected by some traditional food consumption patterns. en
