Abstract:
This International Center for Biosaline Agriculture (ICBA) led project aimed to increase researchers’ knowledge of, and proficiency with the proposal development process necessary towards undertaking agriculture, water and climate change projects in the Middle East North Africa (MENA) region, from conceptualization, to drafting and submission of proposals. Linked to these aims were two specific objectives: 1. Preparation of one or more high quality concept notes, and 2. Increased networking and partnership opportunities for researchers involved in the project. Donor reviewers provided feedback to participants. The report provides insight into the workshop and its outcomes.
