Abstract
Although there is no evidence of revisions to national agricultural policies from 2011 onwards in response to the evolving geo-political landscape in Middle East and North Africa countries (MENA), there is however a marked sense of accelerated reform and a new emerging discourse about “equity” and “professionalization” of agriculture which is completely new to the region.
A comprehensive Knowledge Management and Knowledge Sharing strategy can significantly enhance the effectiveness, efficiency and impact of agricultural policies and proposed agricultural reforms in the MENA region according to a study piloted by KariaNet.
