Abstract
The brochure outlines programme objectives for a learning alliances initiative, facilitated by the International Centre for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA) in collaboration with The International Center for Tropical Agriculture (CIAT), and supported with the aid of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), Canada. The goal is to build the capacity of research, development partners, farmers and civil society organizations to apply innovative approaches that contribute to the broad uptake of agricultural innovations benefitting rural smallholder farmers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
