Abstract
This edition of the Crop and Goat Project (CGP) Tanzania newsletter includes four articles examining the role of gender equity in asset ownership, decision-making, and food security. One of the expected outcomes from the Integrated Project on Dairy Goat and Root Crop Production is to contribute to gender equity and women’s empowerment. Articles include topics on gender-focused training sessions towards changes in more equitable access to balanced diets by members of households; male and female-headed households; gender in terms of mobility and how it can privilege or limit access to food by men and women.
