Abstract
In Ghana, literature on the impact of remittance flows indicates that these transfers are beneficial at all levels: individual, household, local community and the national level. The paper carries out descriptive analysis of origin, channel, and end-use of remittances and establishes quantitative links between international remittances and implications for poverty among households.
