Abstract

Research assessed the level of access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) information and services of women migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong, Singapore and Qatar. Although the study shows that SRH services are available, access to them is largely facilitated or hindered by existing, or lack of existing, migration and labor laws and policies and the way these are interpreted by employers. The study provides evidence that can improve advocacy for better conditions for women migrant domestic workers who are among the most vulnerable migrant workers, mainly due to the absence of labor laws and policies that regulate domestic work.
