Abstract
The Network of e‐Government Leaders of Latin America and the Caribbean (Red GEALC) has had substantial impact on the e‐government progress in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC). This report provides outcomes and achievements obtained during meetings on Center of Excellence in e‐Government (2009) at the Organization of American States’ Headquarters (Washington D.C.). Red GEALC promotes dialogue between e‐government experts in the hemisphere and has organized regional collaborative workshops in Chile, Peru, Brazil, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Canada, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Colombia, in which high ranking civil servants from 32 countries of Latin America and the Caribbean have participated.
