Report of the socio-economic and attitude/perception survey
Abstract
The paper draws results from a socio-economic survey of male and female Muslim youth in five localities in Hyderabad, India. Education and skills training as well as employment are the focus of the data analysis by “Yugantar,” a not-for profit organization that engages in advocacy, research and outreach. Yugantar’s aim is to build sustainable networks with civil-society, corporate, and government institutions towards providing economic, educational and social opportunities for youth.
