Sudanese in Cairo, April 2012
Abstract
Data collection was carried out from July 2009 to July 2011, in two phases. The first phase focused on mapping the Sudanese population in Cairo, and preparing to conduct a door-to-door survey of Sudanese households, based on random sampling. The presentation provides information on challenges of working with a refugee population and appropriate research methodologies; mapping was part of the first phase of the project “Sudanese in Cairo (Egypt).”
