Abstract
Case studies involving women and technology are featured in this presentation about women’s empowerment through training in ICT usage, enabling them access to digital learning and resources. Videos made by women were the subject of the “Woman to Woman Video Project” which included a film of elderly women “able to lift burqa & interact more freely,” as part of three videos by women about women, and household use of water for sanitation. 2,638 underserved females successfully completed ICT training. The “Internews” project produced over 100 radio shows led by women.
