Abstract

The presentation reviews various kinds of entrepreneurial activity in Central America and the West Indies. Findings show a very positive entrepreneurial environment, which generates lots of potential entrepreneurs and intentions of becoming entrepreneurs. New programs to support and improve entrepreneurial skills and the survival of nascent businesses are needed.
