Abstract

Results from interviews suggest that in the areas of social support and inclusion, personal growth and employability, the Partnership in Opportunities for Employment through Technology in the Americas (POETA) program plays an important role in the lives of participants. The program aims to provide technology and job readiness training to increase employment and social opportunities for vulnerable communities by building capacity among local partner organizations. The research project reported here takes a look at the performance of POETA Accesible which is focused on People with Disabilities in four countries: Argentina, Colombia, Guatemala, and Peru.
