Abstract
The OISE-IDRC series of Summer Institutes, devoted to the examination of
Learning and Governance will focus on Individual and Collective Rights and
Obligations for the Summer of 1994.
The previous two Summer Institutes (1992&1993) were devoted to The Politics
of Language Teaching and Learning and Land (including sub-topics of Security,
Communications, Borders, the Environment, and Trade).
The Summer Institute of 1994 will be devoted to the exploration of Individual and
Collective Rights and Obligations (including sub topics of The Arts: Cultural
Appropriation; Parties, Unions, and Group Discipline; Education: Talent vs Equity;
Health: Individual and Community Risk.
