Abstract
The purpose of this report is to describe the activities carried out along the implementation
of the project entitled "Mozambique-ICT Policy, Strategy Implementation, Leadership and
Promotion" funded by International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada through the
Mozambique Acacia Advisory Committee Secretariat (MAACS). The activities covered are
the ones undertaken from February 2001, when the project started up to June 2002, the end
of the project.
It is intended to present the facts about this project from the research perspective identifying
clearly the research problem, the research findings the fulfillment of the objectives
established. The aspects related to the project design and implementation, project outputs
and dissemination capacity building will also be covered. The last part of the report will deal
with the project management issues, the impact of the project and the respective overall
assessment.
Some recommendation drawn from the lessons learned along the life cycle of this project are
also part of this project.
Along the project were produced preliminary report, this report will this represent a
summation of the research aspects above mentioned during the entire course of the project.
