Abstract

The Project was conceptualized in 1991 as a pilot Project. It was intended to meet training needs in agricultural research management within National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS) in the then Southern Africa Development Coordination Conference (SADC) region...The overall objective of the Project was to strenghthen the managerial capabilities of National Agricultural Research Systems (NARS) and the Department of Agricultural Economics and Extension of the University of Zimbabwe in delivering managerial courses in agricultural research and related fields.
