Abstract

This is the final report of the Ghana Vitamin A Supplementation Trials' Survival Study, and summarises the project as a whole, with particular emphasis on the policy implications of the research findings, and the contribution that the project made to research capacity in Ghana. It also describes the specific activities of the extension phase of the project (April 1993 - Mar 1995) for which ODA/HPD made additional funding available to allow further analysis and dissemination of the results of the trial. Further details of the research are given in the publications listed in Annex 1, and in the previous annual reports of the project.
