Abstract
The paper probes the relation between food safety control and quality management of food supply chain, and
underlines the importance of building up the platform of quality and safety communication, in order to achieve the quality
and safety conformance among the links on the whole food supply chain. From the perspective of supply chain, the paper
discusses the approaches of sciences integration and responsibilities integration in food quality and safety management.
The paper concludes with suggestions for food quality and safety improvement from perspectives of regulation and
enforcement of food quality and safety, and the management of food industrial associations and enterprises.
