Abstract
The project produced knowledge through research on the current traits of international cooperation, in particular the meaning and prospects of trends such as South-South and North-South-South cooperation, of which Haiti is a still an embryonic expression. The goal was to extend the research work started in Phase I on the implications of the Haitian case in terms of state (re)building for future South-South cooperation. Results OF PHASE II include a movement by Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales (FLACSO) Argentina to coordinate a web of universities from the region, which would pool expertise and resources to assist education and university authorities in Haiti.
