Abstract
This first issue of the “Imagine” Newsletter focuses on the role of women in innovation and development. Case studies from India and Zambia are featured, along with an “Innovators Profile.” There is still little understanding of innovations by women, or by women for women and for society at large. Except for sporadic instances, such information is even scantier in the case of grass roots women. This newsletter aims to close these gaps in information and understanding.
