Abstract
Developing evaluation capacity in ICTD (DECI) produced a series of Utilization-focused Evaluation (UFE) modules, five case studies, a Primer, and conference presentations. DECI was an action research project that combined the introduction of UFE with a research component, to test the approach for development research. They included: the PANACEA: e-health network (Pakistan); LIRNEasia that focused on policy and ICTD research (Sri Lanka); two small grant programs: ISIF: Information Society Innovation Fund (Australia) and SIRCA: Strengthening ICTD Research Capacity in Asia (Singapore); and the DREAM-IT: Mongolia Country program.
