Abstract
The future of multilaterally supported assistance and global economic health will increasingly depend on the extent to which new economic powers are prepared to engage in collective efforts to solve global problems. New risks and opportunities are emerging as different sets of economic powers assert themselves globally, and as established economies find themselves in a weakened state. The papers commissioned for this volume represent issues addressed, and outcomes produced during the first Annual Forum, entitled Multilateral Development Cooperation in a Changing Global Order (2011), bringing together more than 40 experts from Canada and around the world.
