Abstract
To assist health professionals in Mongolia deal with their workload stress, this project was designed to facilitate access to psychological services online, in a non face-to-face mode. Led by a cognitive-behavioral approach and aimed at doctors and nurses who experience burnout and depression, the research examines the differential effectiveness of online counseling (synchronous chat), and face to face counseling. Both have similar effects in reducing the symptoms of depression and anxiety, however online services are easier to arrange and to attend.
