The tobacco industry lobby perpetrates numerous myths that increase the usage of tobacco products. This bulletin debunks ten myths relating to the economic benefits of tobacco production and the economic costs of consumption, including taxation; government revenue; corporate responsibility; farmer livelihoods; employment; national economy, and poverty.
