Abstract
Day1 of the symposium focused on “Health Systems Strengthening and Primary Health Care.” It highlighted the significance of health system strengthening, prevention, health governance, primary health care, human resources for health, and health financing in global perspectives, especially among Greater Mekong sub-region countries. Day 2 presentations discussed “Challenges and Opportunities to Meet Health MDGs,” focusing on reducing maternal mortality rates and increasing access to reproductive health services.
