Abstract

The Congo basin Forests and Climate Change Adaptation (CoFCCA) project was implemented in three countries in Central Africa: Cameroon, Central Africa Republic, and Democratic Republic of Congo. Linkages between national government departments and between different levels of government are weak in these countries. CoFCCA has successfully raised awareness on forests and climate change adaptation in Central Africa and has helped the region to be perceived as having high potential on mitigation issues. The report provides an account of progress on fulfillment of project objectives, key project research activities, adaptation strategies, and an overview of collaborating partners.
