Abstract

This report reviews workshop presentations and discussions along with recommendations made in assessing the applicability of the monitoring and evaluation (M&E) toolkit for climate change initiatives. Presentations were made on the products of the project, including: the M&E toolkit, the M&E training manual, networking tools, study on existing M&E practices, findings from country case studies, and lessons learned from country experiences on climate change adaptation. After each presentation, extensive discussions were held. Key concepts are to be defined in local languages to facilitate knowledge transfer from teams of practitioners to communities, to ensure program ownership.
