Abstract

Monitoring and Evaluation of Climate Change initiatives in Africa (MECCA‐Africa) is a network of organizations, experts and stakeholders with interest and involvement in climate change adaptation issues in Africa. This issue focuses on gaps in funding. With the scarcity of funds and the need for investing wisely, African organizations need also to develop a tradition of accountability. As well, this issue provides updates on initiatives, activities, and events by member groups and partners.

Description

MECCA Africa is an electronic newsletter of the DFID/IDRC funded project ‘An Experimental Approach to Capacity and Toolkit Development for monitoring and Evaluation within Climate Change Adaptation Initiatives’ implemented jointly by UNECA, OSS, AGRYHMET, and IUCN.
