Abstract

The paper provides a table of results that summarize the research gaps which relate to climate change and variability in Sudan, in terms of their type or nature, importance, and required time span for coverage. Policy and research recommendations are made based on these findings, such as: devoted research budgets for climate change and variability studies; rehabilitation and installation of meteorological stations; encouragement of climate change studies at a post graduate level; and improved data accessibility.
