Abstract
Evidence of accelerated climate variability and change are seen from previous studies and analysis of long-term weather data in Sudan. Temperatures show a rising trend during the last three decades of the 20th century and the current years of the 21st century. Rainfall shows a decline for the same period except in south of Kordofan and the extreme southern parts of Sudan. This analysis is a work in progress, with editing comments included.
