Abstract

This Strengthening Internet Research Capacity in Asia (SIRCA) report covers research milestones, training, and capacity building activities 2008-1010. SIRCA supports scientific research, creating opportunities for scholarship and mentorship between established researchers and grant recipients while providing spaces for sharing of experiences and knowledge. The aim is to contribute to the growing field of ICTD (Information and Communications Technology for Development) research through disseminating research findings in peer-reviewed publications and international conferences. Under the banner of the SIRCA programme is the Singapore Internet Research Centre (SiRC).
