Abstract

This roundtable was organized by the Working Group on Canadian Science and Technology Policy, which is comprised of international development, church, and farmers organizations, including: Development and Peace; Erosion, Technology and Concentration (ETC) Group; Inter Pares; National Farmers Union; Partnership Africa Canada; The Ram’s Horn; and the Unitarian Service Committee (USC) Canada. The report provides an informal synopsis of speaker topics on food sovereignty, agricultural production and sustainability. It also includes brief notes on discussions that took place during the workshop.
