Abstract
Used properly, technology can increase youths’ access to comprehensive training and services, linking them to suitable work, while providing quality program assurance. IDRC support was critical in two areas: providing financial resources to three projects to provide disadvantaged youth with a comprehensive set of services to increase their human capital (skills, knowledge) and connecting them with employers; and enabling International Youth Foundation (IYF) and its three partners to focus in a systematic way on how technology is used, to what effect, and what needs to be adjusted to make the processes more efficient and effective. Details are provided in Appendices (in Spanish).
