Abstract

The goal is to foster science and technology (S&T) innovations for inclusive development that can effectively address developmental needs of the poor and excluded in the region, particularly those at the base of the pyramid (BoP). 26 research grants were awarded to institutions from 6 countries: Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Pakistan and India. This report provides details of outputs and outcomes of the iBoP Asia projects. New endeavours will focus on building partnerships and collaborative engagements in innovation for inclusive development (IID) programs with universities, research councils and business innovators in the region.
