Abstract

Founded in 2006, the KiBO Leadership and Empowerment Model attempts to combine skills-building and attitude change, to make bridges between school and work, and to prepare young people to re-integrate into their communities after their training. This study investigates the attributes and accomplishments of the KiBO model as well as factors in its operating environment that shape its work. The report details research findings, project outcomes and outputs.
