Abstract
To raise the profile of development research issues in the media, the IDRC in collaboration with the Cameroon Union of Journalists (CUJ) organized this three-day capacity building workshop. The strategy moved to strengthen the capacity of journalists to systematize media coverage of development research and sharpen the ability of research institutions to write press releases and deal with the media. Outcomes and outputs of the workshop are presented in this report. Regular media briefings by experts and mentors are necessary for providing journalists with first-hand information on new developments.
