Abstract
This “Evaluation Highlights” newsletter offers a framework to capture how IDRC’s support contributes to capacity development at the individual/group, organizational and network levels in the field. The goal is to help Centre staff conceptualize, plan, monitor and evaluate capacity development interventions in their work. IDRC partners are connected to others within the research system and for this reason, assessing capacity requires also examining how these individuals are connected and influenced by capacity development initiatives. A systems approach to evaluation is described.
