Midterm review of the Rural Territorial Dynamics Programme

Abstract

Rural territories present disparate results when it comes to development programmes, thus leading researchers to seek out the dynamics behind successful rural territorial development. A multi-disciplinary approach centred on the interaction between stakeholders, institutions and the distribution and use of goods and resources makes room for an analysis of the varied results achieved, including economic growth, social inclusion and environmental sustainability. Suggestions from panel members focus on how the synthesis process is carried out, how the network of partners can be strengthened, how incidence projects can be developed and how communication can be handled.
