Abstract
The report outlines lessons-learned and main challenges for conditional cash transfers (CCTs) in terms of financial inclusion. Presentations by representatives of different financial institutions from Peru included financial intermediaries working with women from low income, rural settings and/or native-language speaking (Quechua and Aymara) groups; and the advantages and disadvantages of working within a rural framework. Financial education and outreach, and research needs were also discussed at the workshop.
