Abstract

The workshop aimed to identify opportunities and constraints in the proposed collaboration among National Research Councils (NRCs) and universities from four different countries (Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Indonesia) and to explore the possibility of a joint undertaking among iBoP (Innovation for the Base of Pyramid) Asia and selected NRCs and universities in the region. The report reviews project activities, outcomes and outputs, including research on innovation; innovation in the Academe; gender and innovation; revised iBoP Asia framework; and concept notes for further proposed programmes.
